Registration is now underway for the 2013 Alabama Community of Excellence leadership classes. The program is designed for those interested in taking an active leadership role in the community and becoming actively engaged in the development of Haleyville and Winston County. Class participation is limited to 15. The Engaged Leaders for Better Communities Program is now accepting applications for participants at no cost. Exciting changes at Lakeland Community Hospital New hospital administrator,
Cindy Nichols.
Senator Tammy Irons and husband visited with Chamber members as they passed through Haleyville on Friday. Senator Irons offered assistance in any way for our area.

The Annual Mark A. Forester Memorial Birthday Walk is held in May of each year. Learn more about this special event.

The Annual Haleyville School Alumni Banquet & Parade is held the first weekend in June. 2012 Alumnus of the Year award was presented to Mr. Gary Warren by the President of the Haleyville Alumni Association, Mike Newell.

Christmas by the Lake is a free event in Haleyville, AL that happens every December. Drive through the light show and bring your kids to see Santa Clause!

Community Fall Festival is an annual event, in downtown Haleyville, which includes events such as "Trunk or Treat".
Haleyville Farmers Market is open Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday. Rocky Ravine Park on Hwy 195. Seniors are encouraged to Apply for Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers. Seniors can apply online at Alabama Farmers Market.
