The Veteran Service Officer and Assistant does the following:

Counsels and files claims for Veterans and their dependents on following items:

Veteran Service Connected Disability, Non Service Connected Pension for War time veterans and widows of war time Veterans DIC claims for certain widows V.A. Home Loan Certificates of Eligibility, Education Benefits, Marker Applications and burial benefits for deceased veterans Medical eligibility for veterans to use Veterans Medical; Centers Veteran applications for one of the 3 State Veteran Nursing Homes, Replacement of Medals, Commemorative Tag Certification and other benefits that the Veteran or dependents may be entitled to. Also has applications for membership in local veteran Organizations
